And (some of) my most honest thoughts.
I'd probably learnt more about myself in the past 10 months than I had in any other period of my life, particularly as a leader, and I’ve been fixated, obsessed almost, at analysing the leadership styles of other leaders; the successful and the unsuccessful.
I'd personally seen some of the greatest public and private examples of what to do and what not to do in leadership this year.
My latest case study was British prime minister Liz Truss and the sh*t show she was currently orchestrating and whether she could turn it around for herself.
At this point of my life, I was discovering myself.. really discovering myself and I was thankful, even more so for the not-so-good parts, even if they were a hard pill to swallow at times.
I was discovering the good with a lot of bad, but I was thankful, because I realised I had nothing but time to improve.
Why did you make that decision? Why did you act or react in that manner? Were these questions you took the time to ask yourself?
Your favourite millionaires and billionaires sure did.
If you didn't, you'd more than likely find yourself years down the line asking yourself how you had gotten to where you were, in a place you didn't want to be in — because you hadn't lived life consciously. You hadn't made intentional choices and decisions. You allowed life to happen to you.

Most people didn't ever take the time to think or self-evaluate and even less people were honest with themselves. Instead, they accepted the versions of themselves that life had decided that they they should be.
Where I grew up, role models were far and few between and there were no expectations for you to become anything other than average. Of course, when you're in the midst of it, you don't actually realise it's average, it's just normal.
But I always knew I wasn't either of those things.
I wanted more, even though at the time, I didn't know what more was.
I’ll be talking to you about absolutely everything from those not-funny-at-the-time-but-funny-now anecdotes to my day to day lessons (because the best lessons learnt in life are not your own) to personal musings from the many interesting conversations that I'm privy to on a daily basis.
Enjoy!!
